Virtual Reality
VIRTUAL REALITY i just might fall, the mighty heights feel real. i’m blind to all that lies beyond my sight, though i hear voices in my head. this reality’s gotten a little stranger. plush grass tickles my bare feet. i sit on a checkered blanket in a horror scene — a really bad kiss from a zombie king. i change the channel quick before he eats my lips! the driver hits every speed bump my head aches, then smooth open highway becomes a lullaby vista. i fall asleep in the back seat of a moving car… but wait i’m supposed to be driving… thus i head for the cliff… i just might fall… outside voices catch me... snatching away my headgear. that was quite a trip. my lips are bleeding… 4/27/2018 Jamie’s Interesting Contest 3 Single Element: Virtual Reality Multiple elements: grass under bare feet, a really bad kiss, falling asleep in the back seat of a moving car.
