Poem
A country village nestled by the sea Four blocks wide but filled with grace and charm Stately homes passed down through generations A place where all your troubles are disarmed. You feel a sense of peace pervade the car The moment that you drive across the bridge The traffic may be snarled on 35 A paltry toll for such a privilege. The sand upon the beach is deep and fine In the summer Curtis Market is open late Stop in and grab your favorite brand of wine. Sit on your porch, relax, luxuriate. Superstorm Sandy left the town distraught The town was broken but it did not bend Neighbors called and asked how are you doing Now that's the definition of a friend. So if you feel the need to just unwind Just grab your wife and kids don't hesitate The welcome mat is out 12 months a year. Take the Parkway to Exit 98.
