Poem
Do you sit in an empty room, and talk to the space were very nearly soon- and not nearly soon enough-I will be too? Do you talk to me like I talk to you? Do you imagine the shape of me? Do you hear my voice, feel my breath, The empty, pulling, hollow death that pulls me to you? And do you fight to grip me in your today, as I make my home stubbornly in you tomorrow, leaving you, cold lonely, and blue? Do you know how I miss you? Even though our first meeting is not yet yesterday, I find a way to remember the sweet moments that we will one day share. I promise I will meet you there. I will see you on the horizon of the life I have been waiting to give you- waiting with joy, frustration, and sorrow. Meet me today, And I will give you tomorrow.
