Zen mode
raising, then lowering awareness
of what is, as it arises within
we both celebrate and negate
the offering of mind-body vessel
thus removing fetters of ego
that seeks to cling to the sensory
both fullness and emptiness
being but mirror images in duality
we observe desire and aversion
perhaps subtle but yet at play
cajoling heart to accord preference
to a fragrance to which form is drawn
