"A-form Only" Contest

Inspired by the Quote

Sponsor: Constance La France

"I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it..." E.E. Cummings If you remember the ecstatic emotions we experienced, No unwavering obstacle could keep two of us apart! My life and yours intertwined in a graceful harmony You and I dreamed of a fascinating future together ! How we spent our days laughing and singing like free-spirited larks, Enjoying every moment of a blissful journey of our flight, A truly passionate longing quivered in our trembling soul, Rose blossoming in glorious splendour with no restraint, The ambrosial exquisite fragrance we carried in our hearts.

Thank you so much, Krish. Delighted to see your inspiring comment, and to know you are back from your tour. It had been a long tour, you said - which countries in Europe did you visit? I had been to Europe - England, France, Italy - long time ago. My daughter is inviting me to accompany her to Florence this November. I love visiting Europe because of the glorious artwork by artists like De Vinci, Michael Angelo, and others. I have to visit your page to find your new poems. Warmest wishes ~

Dear beautiful mala, what a brilliant acrostic this is! Exquisite diction and so heartfelt lines flowing so seamlessly throughout! Your words fit also the quote that youv chosen in this contest. I love how youv especially written “ My life and yours intertwined in a graceful harmony You and I dreamed of a fascinating future together !” every relationship starts with so many hopes and wishes but when it all becomes a distant memory it is painful.” Rose blossoming in full glory with no restraint” just love that ending! Brilliant! Best wishes for the contest! Im sure it will do well

Dear Empress, My heart starts dancing when I find comments from you and few of my other friends! We all know how much our poems get influenced by our memories! We pour our heart when we grab a pen (laptop at present) reminiscing the happiness and sadness we experienced many years ago. I am so glad you liked this little piece of writing! Love and Hugs ~
