Food play

The carrots jumped up and grabbed my nose, Swatted them back down with my toes! Spinach curled round my fork, Had two eyes! I knew it was alive. The peas lined up across the plate, Waiting for the spoon to retaliate! "Quit playing with your food, momma said, Or I'll have to send you off to bed!" It's not me! The food on my plate will not stay still! Attacks me, At will! As the steak marched across the plate, I stabbed it quick, Before my mother could state, "Off to bed with you! Playing with food will never do!" So off to bed I went. It's a good thing, The jellybeans parachuted in. Now I'll have some dinner. The end!
