Some discover the joy of chocolate in fall. Maybe, Motther, got it for us at the mall. Later, we were then able to buy it on our owm, From our allowances, oh, how we felt so grown! As time flew by, we found it calmed us down, Like magic, it gave us smiles, and removed, frowns. I am grateful, for this tasty, most auspicious treat. On Valentines Day, in red satin, knocks me offf my feet! 5/18/20224

A smile a day keeps the doctor away, and if chocolate is capable of being the reason for that, then I won't blame you for falling into temptation, Pangie :) I can get by without chocolate, but I appreciate/enjoy some dark chocolate now and again. ~ Best regards // paul

Pangie, it is great stuff. We have some cocoa powder that I mix with almond milk for a snack. It doesn't like being mixed, but at least there's no emulsifiers. I can eat the 100% dark just for the taste, but I know that's crazy. 80-90% is really good. Many people like it sweeter.

Aren’t Moms just the best! In winters in Chicago, Mom made Hot Chocolate in Pink Mugs, topped with fresh whipped cream she made, ground, fresh chocolate atop of it, on a doiled covered plate with two thin cookies. She was really into living in an artistic and unique way. If it was really cold, she would liight a cinnamon candle for us. I don’t know, but I think my mom came directly from heaven like mostly all moms do right? Pangie Romios

With my diabetes, I have to do without. Oh how a year for such sweets, although I would prefer an apple pie. No sweets, poor me.

Well, Victor, I think it’s a much better idea. You do not leave it giving your diabetes.. you already stated a great substitute which is apple pie. I have chocolate and a few occasions during the year. That’s all for me.. when I was younger more chocolate, but not much anymore. That’s the joy of aging. Oangie Romios

Hello Beryl,… Yes, indeed! Chocolate is a universal candy and every country I think. I don’t know about the far east go. But I know it’s made very well all over Europe.. and then winter time nothing like a cup of hot chocolate. Great seeing you again.. Pangie Romios

Well, if you buy quality chocoaltes from a shop, i think you will find they last longer, i know you buy good candy, candy made cheaply sure tates yucky. My zmother bougght Fsnnie Mas Candy in hugeboxes. Now I have a raste for it. Field’s made those Frango mints, yes, I know they sold out to Macy I once worked at Field’s. Awesome expereience,at Macy’s decades later, there is no comparison… Pangie Romis!

Chocolate is a big favorite with many. You wrote well in your exaltation of this treat. (Add the powder to soup, for a different flavor)
