as i eat beef stir fry
in a cup
on yet
another lunch
spent
inside the truck
somewhere
in Idaho

where pots hang
in the
sunshine sky
on
hooks
brushed over
the salt of a split
in green
the sound
of her voice
comin' @ me
bakes
phlegm
pastries

tonight
i write
under the satellites
with
the itch of dry pine
and wine
in my right—
life
is a circus
full
of elephants
come back to my arms
and you'll
never be stomped
