Fractured Resolve

I am unravel myself constantly to be everything for everyone.
Neglecting who I care about and betrayed by those which were once in their place.
I stretch myself to heights I cannot fathom to reach.
Shot down.
I set myself up for failure from before the idea is formed.
They say history repeats itself.
That is a cold haunting fact.
The dream of leaving everyone behind coats my tongue.
I am shot healing bullet wounds that are not my own.
I fall behind.
Self sacrifice is scorched into my core.
My feet are scathed from dragging them to do tasks that I allowed.
My boundaries lost in my blind run for attention.
I end up stacking bricks of lies to shield myself from prying eyes.
When we cannot look at ourselves, we turn to our peers.
Confronting oneself is one a harsh lesson, conquring that is strength.
I am no stranger to lying.
I see more pollution in those around me than what is held in my skin.
That is the vile deed of humanity.
We survive.
Flowers sprout from this hellscape.
Learn to grow your own garden.
