Bloggers Photo

I was born in a large family, in a comfortable, suburban home where education and athletics were promoted and practiced. Throughout my youth I was involved with a variety of sports, and this enabled me to attend college on a scholarship, and with that, attain a undergraduate degree before beginning in a career full-time.

As my career advanced, I maintained aspects of my physical pursuits through martial arts training, and eventually, became involved in teaching and competitive events. As my career wound down, I was then involved with caring for my elderly family members until their passing.

Soon afterwards, my physical condition began deteriorating, with a chronic condition that prevented me from sustaining any kind of suitable work, and I struggled with homelessness for 3 years. It was during this period that I began writing poetry, and found it to be a life-changing and necessary pursuit.

Since that time, I have found some stability and renewed purpose, as I continue my efforts, feeling compelled to put into words, my intense feelings towards the current political theatre we all are experiencing. And on occasion, I even write about humanity, love, and beauty.
