slow down
slow down worthy hermit, slow down
notice how ego cravings clown
be still now, meld with formless space
bliss mists rise; choose therein to drown
slow down the chase, slow down life’s pace
thinking, not feeling, soul’s disgrace
all’s within; there’s nothing our there
God beckons, hasten to embrace
slow down thought, let heart take the chair
of God’s breath in us, be aware
know His light glows within all forms
behold how love with love does pair
