Prepared

Take care of yesterday
Packed in suitcases
As brick by brick
Simultaneously the world rises and falls
I'm all unpacked
Picking over bits
Locks unpicked
Heaviness stripped out
As comparison drives a devil through
Screeching incomprehensible sentences ending with you, you, you
So guilt stacks up
Teeth grind
And I'm found and fine and fighting til another day
When I might make sense or throw it all away
Because suitcases are the wrong shape for carrying
Just stackable, wall like
Inoperable, openable then
Content, contents
Lack of point to keeping all that unknown stuff
Just in case the unknowable occurs
As I knew it would
And I am all ready
For persecution
Neat.
