DAWNs DELIGHT

I’m out of mind and sound is dawn’s delight.
A trip, I take, around huddle of trees.
The splice of pink and purple cane is sweet.

With warbling voice, blackcap chorus excite.
Break of lull’by, and brightly colored breeze.
I’m out of mind and sound is dawn’s delight.

The oaks, disrobe the night, outlook upbeat.
Their leaves, in burst of honey-love, do please.
The splice of pink and purple cane is sweet.

I hear the flute and harp; heaven’s sans white.
Reclaiming perch, I slink from sheets with ease
I’m out of mind and sound is dawn’s delight.

Come sun, from place of rest, and moon retreat,
And open thither heartbeat of birds and bees.
The splice of pink and purple cane is sweet.

Robin redbreast whistling with all his might.
The kodachrome of ev’ry breath, I seize.
I’m out of mind and sound is dawn’s delight.
The splice of pink and purple cane is sweet.
