Divine Whispers

Written: May 28, 2024 For Regina Mcintosh Contest Quote: Let us embrace stillness to detect the subtle whisper of God. By Poet
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My hectic life induces mild ear loops. One life shortly ends, but God's work lasts. Seeking the skies or stars fails to find God. Seek God in your spirit, felicity, and heart. Seek God in hope-crafted, ecstatic parody. When you're weary and must dirge, seek God. Seek God's strength when you lack it. Seek God through stumbling lyrics. Seek God, who provides rain and thunder. Seek God amid storms that prompt bewilderment. He is there as rain patters on poor dry tin roofs. Search for him within children seething gaze. While consoling a grieving friend, find him. When you bite into a golden mango, you'll find him. To quench your thirst, find him in coconut water. Seek God serenely under his warm sun. Pray to God to brighten the hues in your life. God connects us slyly; his love and peace cram us.  He is there when the palm fronds rustle. Follow Him daily to receive His guidance.
