Kleinkoph Super Patriot
Kleinkoph’s* quick to brag he’s a patriot
(and gets fighting mad to learn if you’re not!)
For if you’re not American as he is
you’re either a foreigner or a communist.
As for rights and freedoms, he’s all gung-ho –
unless yours are different from his, though.
A bigot he’s been accused of being
though hasn’t a clue of that word’s meaning.
Religions of all kinds he’ll tolerate,
provided yours you don’t propagate.
That means no zealous proselytizing
when only yours is worth believing.
As for Jesus, he much prefers the view
he was American at heart, less so a Jew.
As for his mother’s shocking pregnancy –
it’s every girl’s curiosity for intimacy.
And as for cross and country, his brag
is boisterous: country first, then the flag.
Insists he keeps his nose clean of politics,
as all politicians are lying hypocrites.
And if he had his way, he’d have them tried,
found guilty and jailed until dead and buried.
Foreigners he deems as welcomed guests,
but, please, preferably stripped of native dress,
(to reduce any biases and prejudices
causing confrontational experiences)
often based on cultural differences
like their language, nonEnglish gibberish.)
As for extended stays, it’s not a crime –
unless stretched to an illegal lifetime.
As for extra-terrestrials like UFOs,
Kleinkoph sees them as descendants of those
who first landed here centuries ago, returning
to see the legacy of their great building
works they left behind – and doubts, he quips,
they’re back to build bigger pyramids.
