Tattoo

If l were ever to get a tattoo I know exactly what l would get Small yet with mammoth meaning One without regret My husbands favourite number is six My sons is two Mine is eight So this is what l would do…. My tattoo would be as follows: 6 + 2 = 8 That simple equation says “everything “for me My life, my reason ….my cherished family If not a tattoo Perhaps on my headstone it will be!

Interesting, my favorite number is also 8, but I am too afraid of needles to get a tattoo (I don't have pierced ears for the same reason)

I absolutely love this ! The rhythm and rhyme are spot on and address the thought perfectly ! I rode my bicycle 3400 miles across the United States to raise funds for multiple myeloma, it took a year to decide but I got my first and only tattoo to commemorate that trip. We raised $500K. Having lost friends to that horrible disease it is very meaningful to me. I am a former Olympian and have done many things, but this was the greatest.

I was scheduled to run for the 1980 Olympics... I was 21 and weighed 142 pounds.. going into that final year I had averaged 17 1/2 miles a day..... all to be taken away by men and politics.... but I was blessed to have my eyes opened at the time because I was quite poor. I finished my education and obtained my degree in electrical engineering, going on to build a robotics company. At the age of 40 I sold everything so I could do what I wanted. I was running again and running well when my feet suddenly failed. I had six surgeries to no avail. Once again, I saw how quickly things could change. After many tears I adapted and went to the bicycle, changing sports midlife. Some could say it's "unfair" but as is my way I moved on.
