Though I have seen this flower ( very rarely as they don't grow here,) I never knew that it has such a funny name. Until I read the second stanza, I couldn't guess that it is a flower. I thought you were referring to a mischievous imp. The last line made me smile. Your sense of humor is evident in this poem. Have a lovely weekend dear Sam.

Hi Mala! Thank you so much for joining in the mischievous fun of a Johnny Jump Up! Have always loved the name and the sense of mischief it has inspired! This was a fun poem to write embracing a childlike joy. Summer hasn't quite arrived here, yet. We'll have a couple of warm days and then it cools off again. And the summer's fog has definitely arrived making our mornings cool clearing by afternoon. How about your weather - warm and sunny yet? Take care, dear friend. Sending you blessings to warm your days, hugs and much love! Any chance you might be coming our way in the near future?
