Divine Magnetism

Listen to poem:
Written: May 1st, 2024 For Unseeking Seeker Contest Rumi Quote: "The beauty you see in me, is a... magnet, stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our blood supplies an elixir of flawless bliss, An ultimate pitch of love is a sense of wiss. Sacred lodestone wipes dross from the soul, Whilst absolute tandem is under control. An ethereal might, a beckoning belief, An augural allure metamorphosed any grief. It spurred us to adopt novel perspective, Burning beams of a beauteous objective. We, as human genus are born with a soul, In-depth darkness panorama, mysteries dwell. This is the oxymoron on God's magnet pole, Ever beckoned to him, even to bid farewell. A subtle tug and whisper of a hidden layer, In contrast to simply surviving until death. Our souls imbue exploration into prayers, We are all bound by similar moral breath.   God has been with us from dawn of time, Humans knew, but we were apart, sublime. Devoid of contact, we remained nervous, Pursuing pure redemption is his purpose. A whisper led me to feel renewal was near, Wandering across the elysian bars is so clear. Upon viewing a ray—I went to probe the shore, Mercy at dawn dew, a dulcet upsurge before  Embrace nature's gifts—in the heart of the sun! Cosmos rituals in harmony with a divine spun. Our souls ignite with flames of pure volition, Whippoorwill song as a drill, not a whip position. With esoteric emphasis on one's mindfulness, Naturally, there is a dimension of sinfulness. Rave words and stances reside in that place, Imbue you with a penchant for magnetic grace. How far can a mental magnet hang curving? Considering an iron detector's criteria luring. Devotion to desire undermines cognitive allure, Morality is an ethereal access to cosmic demure. Soul ethos excavates for a mental magnet, Created by an ethereal drive into the planet. No heart rests; Lord rescues us in this process, Clean blood sustains body in rhythm excess. In a languid maunder, motley items are spun, Electric magnetism caters to orbs circling Sun. Nebulous nexus niche nurtured by magnetic law, An electromagnetic field prevails all over in awe.  We roam till pellucid panacea goes away,  Existence attraction transcends fear sway. As sentient beings, we utterly fall into Earth, Disintegrate with the ground, sundry fresh birth.
SP, There are a lot of references to magnets in this poem...it's refreshing and fun to feel this pull and how you use it. BTW, if you look at the poem without logging in, I think the site got confused by your use of the human genus and replaced it with asterisks. Just funny. I've noticed the site changes words for everyone but the author when it detects something it doesn't permit. The use of the magnet and the end of the poem seem to indicate there is a soul in every human. Thanks for this one. How we all crash at the end is reality and very well put!
I'm a bit jealous hearing those rhymes tumble perfectly into your poem. We Maltese have a faulty pronunciation of English. However rhyme is secondary, Your in-depth poem is so powerful. Loved the line that says: This is the oxymoron on God's magnet pole. Best for a win.
Your poem encompasses the truths of the spiritual world. A divine magnetism crosses and includes the divine and physical which unfolds in lingering rhythms. A perfect fusion, I believe.
Astounding imagery within your poem, dear Sotto. Your alliterations are so smooth, not distracting or contrived. This verse spoke to me: With esoteric emphasis on one's mindfulness, Naturally, there is a dimension of sinfulness. Rave words and stances reside in that place, Imbue you with a penchant for magnetic grace. In my mind, grace is one of mankind's most powerful energies; it opens up the heart and soul to beauty and transcendence. Well done for the contest! Have a splendid evening.
