Paradise Restored
There lurks within the human soul, a lust for the perfect and whole. This haunting hint of something lost drives our quest to win at all costs. Despite man’s garden escapade, and the fierce flaming sword blockade, perfection’s pleasant song has stayed, e’en though our soul from God has strayed. Our quest to create Paradise has left us with nothing but scars. Promises of a better life, have only yielded stress and strife. The promise made of paradise, by Jesus, The Bright Morning Star, has been a source of peace and joy, which naught on earth could e’er destroy. The saints of old with eager gaze, looked for its fruit with hearts ablaze. That grand reunion in the sky, the time when death itself would die. Soon the trumpet of God will sound, and His saints will be heaven-bound. Faith will then give way to sight, and what was wrong will be made right.
