Dogma Delivery (ABC Poem) I must say, that's a very clever alliterative abecedarian poem! Great use of imagery that flows from beginning to end, with an interesting theme that avoids sounding like nonsense. Which is difficult for abecedarian poems to not do. Impressive.

Rhymed Verse Trick For those of you who write fixed verse using rhymes, one trick that's helped me avoid repeating metaphors is by using obscure, difficult end words as rhymes. Words you/others seldom use, words with a limited amount of options, something exotic. It helps force me to think up new metaphors instead of falling into a routine (unconscious or otherwise) of go-to phrases, imagery and ideas. This might only suite styles similar to mine, but give it a try if you get bored.
