Just thought I'd introduce myself. I love writing haiku poems but would like to learn other types of poetry like tanka. I have written many love poems and some nature ones and ones leaning towards meditation and yoga as I love those as hobbies too.

Ive only been here about four years so still learning. One thing ive found helpful is the types of.poems section,nearly every form is listed with examples. I always thought a poem was just rhyme, it opened my eyes. That said I love rhyme and always come back to it. Hope you'll be happy here, again if you need advice or help shout up, someone on here will have an answer. Tom
