I haven't written much so far, but i am really enjoying the journey so far. I am so thankful to have a place to share my poems, Most people just don't get it. Sometime i don't understand too.

I have only been really writing prolificallyin the last year.I have found the more you write the easier it seems to get. Reading it out loud will help you to ID awkward parts that don't seem to flow correctly.It needs to be smooth and flowing. Go line by line and cut out any extra words that are not absolutely necessary for the thought at hand. rework it as many times as required. Avoid cliches and common sayings. Read all you can. Make sure to check grammar and spelling well. These are some things, that I have found that really work pretty well. Another very good site is: allpoetry.com These sites are generally pretty supportive in their comments about your poetry.I hope this helps you in your writing endeavors. Best Regards, kriver
