What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of .............Any theme
The form to be used is called Pleiades. This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman. Only one word is allowed in the title, followed by a seven line stanza. Each line of the poem must be about the title. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the first letter of the title. For this contest I want 8 syllables per line, with the rhyme scheme ABAB CCA.. Please use Exact rhymes. No Names, Date your Poem, List your poem under VERSE. Check your syllables with howmanysyllables.com. Have fun soupers.
Do not use the same word twice, for those of you who have already done so

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
