Contest Description

What to Submit?

The Roman Senate decreed that July was to honor Roman General Julius Caesar who was tragically killed by The Roman Senate.

Julyme (a link of July and rhyme pronounced as, Ju-lime) is my newly created poetic form.

It has *seven unstructured or structured lines, with a simple *rhyming scheme of; abacbab, therefore, only the Rhyme form will be accepted.

The Holy Grail would be to write a *theme based on either honor, or tragedy, or both.

*You need to start your title with an honorific abbreviation.

*Please include the date at the end (contest name and the sponsor is your prerogative), no names and/or facsimiles thereof.

The five (*) asterisks above are the five requirements necessary for this contest.

Check RZ, for exact rhyming (preferred but not mandatory). HMS and PS provided for those who choose the structured lines, as it was used for my 'Ladybug' example, 6-6-8-10-8-6-6.
