Contest Description
What to submit:
1: Only one haiku per contestant on the theme of nature
outside our windows...
paradise... birds... bugs... trees
wild neighbours

2: Three lines in the 5, 7, 5 syllable format, no capital letters, punctuation, proper nouns and ellipses/dashes the exceptions.
3: Please leave date of composition.
4: Old haiku may be submitted, however, just two provisos, as in; it must not have attained a podium finish in any other contest or been published commercially.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
