Contest Description
I really enjoyed the last contest I did so here's the second. Write a poem in 10 lines using only 5 words in each line, BUT use one of these themes:
1.) A Weeping Willow Mourns
2.) A Love to Last a Lifetime
3.) My Heart Stopped Beating With Yours
4.) Nothing Lasts Forever
Whatever theme you choose will be your title so I don't read it!
MUST RHYME- there are many rhyming sites to help you, please use them
Give me good metered flow and rhythm. Great usage of metaphorical language and emotion. Show me depth.
NO names or initials
Date MUST be at bottom along with contest title and sponsor name
I judge blindly and if you are not happy with your placement don't take it personally, every judge is different. By now I am hoping you all know what kind of poetry I like and am looking for in my contests.
