Just what I have to say today - Bradley Smith's Blog

Here we are again. Some more bablings from a diagnosed schizophrenic. So, what do I have to say today I wonder? I guess all that's on my mind right now is my first attempt at self publishing a collection of poems. It may be delusion, it may not. All I know is that I can't wait till I am old like bukowski to publish. So, I'm doing it on my own. This experience has deffinetly taken me out of my comfort zone, which is far from a bad thing. Whether if it sells or not, it is still a great life experience. I know, you know, that we all have a voice. We all have a story. So what I want to say today is, all that trauma, or all those stories. Even the ones you like to keep for yourself. Share. Share. Share. The struggles you have been through just may be the survival guide and comforter someone going through the same situation you overcame needs right now. Its not about money. It's not about fame. It's about showing people their feelings, however complex. Are shared by others. We are not alone. You are not alone. Never forget that. Thanks for reading...

Hilo Poet Date: 6/2/2021 4:31:00 PM The strength to have shared depicts the measure of your progress you have made through your daily life. A friend, from another island who had a similar diagnosis, shared my home during our college years. He was four years older marked by incessant shaking, also, always need to be with anybody so as not to be alone. Since our departing time, I was saddened to have lost him.
