To walk on Ireland and taste the eire

The wife and I are going to Ireland this year. For the first time. We are trying to plan where to go and what to do. We're normal or as close to working class normal as anyone can get and still be married 51 years. Any helpful suggestions and warnings would be much appreciated.

Hi Donald , what an interesting Bio . Being a former alien , I suggest , you leave your spaceship at home.(We already have enough "spacers" here at the moment). Having survived the Blitz , there are areas of Belfast , you should avoid . Being a boat-designer , you should visit the ship-yards ,They built the Titanic !! . (Blame Greenland for the iceberg) . As regards the 9 holes , back&front , have you been looking in my sock-drawer?? . You WILL enjoy your visit , as the natives are friendly and the scenery is sublime (especially , the West Coast). If I can be of any help , do drop me a soup-mail ... Sean ..

Watch out for those little guys in the green velvet suits. If you don't pay attention to them, they bite your knees. Just kidding! have a wonderful safe trip my friend. Lainie ps. I hear you on the rewrites - me too. I am never satisfied with my writing.

Wow I have so much input! I've been 2 times & on a shoe string too! Best to soup mail me with questions & read my verses on Ireland there a quite a few! PS My Dad's a 31st degree mason!

I have never been to Ireland, but I have read of its fairies, sprites and beauty. The violence is a marginal thing today so let nothing damp your thirst to toast the eire.

I've never been though I would love to go. I just thought I would say, "WOW 51 years." That is awesome, and Ireland too. So wonderful. I look forward to reading the responses you get on this blog, someday I would love to visit Ireland myself. Take lots of pictures and be pepared to write... I have heard it is truly inspiring. Maybe you can share some of your marriage do's and don'ts and stories of your trip on your blogs. LOL Anyway, in all seriousness... I am so JEALOUS...lol Congratulaions. Smiles from Lolita
