<P>Is it just me....or is anyone else having&nbsp;the issue of&nbsp;getting booted off the site? I've been online less than 20 minutes and have had to log on FOUR times! I will read a poem, write a comment, and before I can post it, the Soup informs me that my session has "timed out" and I must log in again! AGGGGHHH!&nbsp; For instance,&nbsp;although it's taken me only a few minutes&nbsp;to write this, I will&nbsp; most likely have to copy this text&nbsp;and log in again before it will post.</P> <P>Help!</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Donna</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Enter Text</P>

I think there is a time limit...I was informed several times that my session had expired!! Then you have to star all over!! The last long one I wrote I had to submit in parts and then go back and log in again, etc. Also Donna, thanks for your kind comments on my stuff...it keeps me encouraged!

I've had this issue as well, however the poets and work seem to over shadow this problem for me. I do like the changes that ps is making.....much love!

hey donna not sure why we get booted I learned to copy and paste for this reson they even have check mark to keep us signed in but that fails too nice blog

I haven't had that problem but I do have a couple other ones. If I'm posting a long poem, I'll get logged out before I'm done, the spell check messes up every time I use it, and when I try to print out copies of my work, the page has everything on it but the poem. Also do you have any idea how to send soupmail to someone, I haven't figure that out yet...Karla

that happend to me a few weeks ago. I thought it was just my computer but i guess not. I dont know what to tell you. I doesnt do it to me anymore. Maybe there is too many visitors at a time when you happen to log in??? ehh idk. Anyway good luck into future logins. bye, autumn

Yes it is VERY annoying and usually happens at least once to me also especially when I comment on the Favorites of the Week ... oh well. The other thing I wish they would change is how you get to see who won in a contest ... all that scrolling up and down is crazy!! Why can't it just go direct to either the name of the contest and/or the name of the person running it? Thanks for your ARGH, Donna !!

It's frustrating, especially when designing a concrete poem which requires some time. I'm glad to see the new changes to the site though...

I have had the same problem so many times... I yell and hollar at it but it doesn't come back. Please don't let it discourage you from writing... we love to hear from you. Smiles from Lolita

Donna, I've experienced problems like this ever since I joined the site. There's trouble in cyberspace and I believe it has to do with technical problems, not your individual computer. The worst thing is writing a long Soup Mail, being knocked off, and somehow not being able to recover it by clicking the back button. Arghh!! Love, Carolyn

I did a blog once and got timed out and didn't know how to recover it. I know I'm slow but damn! I ain't that slow. Been bounced a few times and it is frustrating. Vince

Happens to me all the time... its a real pain when posting a poem.. I have started to submit a bit at a time.. so I do not have to start all over...

me too..happens ALL the time..LOL I have come to view it as a sign from "G" that I 1) shouldn't make that comment 2) have been on line too long 3) need to rewrite that poem! Light & Love

Yes...me too, Donna!! It can be so frustrating! Something else that I would like to ask, to anyone else who has posted photos on the blog, .... I have wanted to delete some old photos and the PS. site won't let me. I've tried for months to click on certain photos...then press delete...and they just won't disappear. Wonder what's up with that!? Good luck Donna...and thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one who has had problems. , Carrie

It has been going on for about a month now. The problem is getting worse. They keep adding things to the site and are doing so while we are using it. I think this is the problem .But....isn't it better that we can log back in rather then them closing the site down for awhile to do it? I know it can be annoying. They are trying to improve the site maybe it will be done soon. Love, Carol

I've been having problems like this too. A lot of lists have been added to this site since I joined along with other features. I'm not a computer guru but have been wondering if that has something to do with it. Have you contacted The Soup Staff by email regarding this? Karen
