Believe

If you believe, you have the power

To be all that you want to be.

It gives you the strength like no other

To sail away as far as you can see.

This is a beautiful notion. But for so many of us, we are locked in this tiny box we make for ourselves. There is no light, there is no vision. Just excuses of why we have not, will not, can not. These are phrases that hamper our lives, our hopes and dreams until we truly think this is it.

What more do we have to look forward to. Everyday is a duplicate of the last and each tomorrow is another today. How do you believe? How do we learn to once again open our hearts and minds to the possibilities of what can be?

Music is a medium that speaks to me and through me. That is when I find my hopes and dreams. But to truly believe. I can’t seem to reach that level of awareness. To me it’s always a far off dream or a hope so deep it burns inside. I feel as if my heart is screaming for help and yet not heard!

I want to believe. I want to teach my children to believe. How do you teach that which you have no knowledge of?

Love gives you warmth!

Dreams give you desire!

Hope gives you drive!

But to believe! Oh, what a wonder that would be!

Kristie my dear just break out hon, remove that shell and release all that is beautiful in you and shine. You have it in you as I see it in your poetry and your blogs.
