Another Irish Blessing

Blog Posted:3/7/2008 1:32:00 PM

This spring we will celebrate an old Irish holiday;
     Countrymen will turn out green
that's the American way.
A true Irishman's spirit is easily recognized;
     You'll hear it in his laughter, see it in his Irish eyes.
Irish expressions entertainnobody smiles like they do;
     Their delight is really real 'cause they're entertaining you.
Many want to be Irish and I can understand why;
     Irishmen become legends because they give it a try.
Listening to their stories is a most glorious thing;
     Keeping their company's just
another Irish blessing.

MARCH 17, 2008 is St. PATRICK'S DAY

I really like this piece. My youngest son is a fiddler with his violin. He plays such wonderful Irish pieces at different events. We have a blast each year with his music and fiddling. This is wonderful. Great job! ~ Joseph

Just returned fom the Irish Minstrel, held at Saint Canicus church in Mahanoy City. Wonderful family style event held for the past 16 years. Comedy skits and music. Next Monday I'm Irish for a day. My closest friend is Irish and I was lucky enough in '93 to spend about 10 days in one of the most beautiful countries on earth, Ireland. Thanks for a great blog. Top of the morning to you! Vince
