I just wanted to share my thanks in the support I get on here. Being a chronic pain sufferer my days are good or bad, my writings may take times at editing as the meds I've been on affect my short term memory. So I'll re read and re write. Usually, I just let it flow. Writing makes me forget, so it's all good. I will try to do the best in commenting. I use my ipad so sometimes. that validation drives me crazy cause ill click it wrong. You all inspire me. Thank you for relighting my muse. J

Welcome to the Soup Jennifer! I also am a chronic pain sufferer as I have degenerated disks and facet joints in my back and diabetic neuropathy..so I sure do feel for you..I am so glad you share your poetry with us and that it helps you to write...me too!! Keep up the awesome work !

You all are just so kind, as far as recipes go, I will help as best as I can. I typically read through about six or seven before I prepare what I want.(if it is something new). Then, I take what I like and make it my way. I am happy to be the resident authority on cooking questions. I can make about anything. Baking has to follow strict guidelines though so for that I usually use a recipe. My soups are what I was known for at work. in my last job of 18 years, I worked for a major airline in the training center for pilots. I am also great with roasting meats. Large quantity for parties etc. So, ask away, I will try and help here with any questions. Thank your for the positive thoughts. J

In a way I am glad you find it difficult, I thought it was just me. Sorry about your pain do you attend a pain clinic to help you? Thank you too Serene now I know it's just not me either. Yes on the pain clinic. Boulder has a great one so I drive a little extra to go there. Trying Botox with great success on migraines and head pain. Have been able to reduce pain medicine along with some lines in face. Lol. J
