It’s a pleasure to feature Emile Pinet! A fellow Canadian poet of such talent, but also someone with a kind heart and compassion for all. First, I am not sure who knows but he has been going through a difficult time, and is recovering from chemotherapy, and from friends I know how much this can take out of you. So I hope you will all wish him well! He is a Canadian poet of immense talent, and his poetry inspires me. He is a true Gentleman.

Great writes! Haven't seen his work before, but thoroughly enjoyed. I frequently work with folks battling cancer and on chemo (mostly kiddos), and it's a tough, tough struggle. My best to him.

Arthur again you have selected one of the finest examples of great poetry writers. Emile is one of my top three favorite writers. I miss his absence and I wish him a quick recovery. Thank you for sharing Arthur, an excellent blog recognizing the best of the Soup.

A most worthy, honorable and fine poet you have chosen my friend. Sorry to read of his health issues and pray he fairs well now. Great poet, great poems chosen to present.. Emile, pray you can keep on writing--its medicine for the soul my friend. I know firsthand the truth of that.

Just read his work that you posted. I really enjoyed reading his work. He sure has a BIG family! He has learned much sensitivity to others from this life experience, and the poems you showed from him were personal and thoughtful, as he is himself.

Emile is a true gentleman. He reads and comments on our poems with dedication and sincerity. He had mentioned time ago that he would not be on the site much because of his health.
