Adding Forms to the Established Form List - Kim Merryman's Blog

Bloggers Photo   Hi! My name is Kim Merryman. I was born April 27, 1959 in Louisville, KY but grew up in Rancho Cordova, CA.  My husband's name is Rob. We were married on May 30, 1981 and we have two grown sons named Daniel and Matthew, and a black cat named Max.

    I currently live in Niceville, FL located in the Florida Panhandle, near Eglin AFB. With my husband being in the Air Force we have moved around a little. We have lived in California, Florida, Texas, Okinawa and North Carolina.

    I am a Christian and many of my poems reflect that.  I've only been writing poetry for 7 years. Most of my inspiration comes while I'm reading my Bible.

     My other interests include reading, crocheting, counted-cross stitch, and playing Scrabble.

     I'm so glad I found Poetry Soup. Since becoming a member I have learned so many new forms. The contests have stretched my creativity and the positive comments are so encouraging.  Even though I've never met you, I feel like I know you. Looking forward to a long, happy relationship with all of you.

Adding Forms to the Established Form List

?Anyone out there know how to get new forms added to our list of choices? I have e-mailed PS twice: once sometime last year and again a week ago and have never  received a reply. I wanted to add the Pleiades, Shadorma and Waltz Wave forms. Thanks.

i don't think we can. They probably dont allow it since it would make that DB table huge, peeps entering an endless list of 'forms'. I am assuming TPS does not do their own coding and that they do not manage their database, so it costs them money to have their host company make additions and changes. This is why there is such a delay.

What you have done Kim is the only way to get a form added.(plus a dolop of patience as it can take quite awhile)
