Where were we when matter began to coalesce, what thoughts did we have as this universe started to form, did we have a name yet?? Did we have a form? Millions of years before Newton coined the term “gravity” an epoch was beginning, a “something” brought from “nothing”, that would one day form into this thing …. Called … conscious thought. Stephen Hawking once said that the universe would not be here if “we” were not here to observe it.
Observation is in and of itself dependant upon intelligent design, one can only observe what one knows to be truth, an observation can be torn apart, categorized, and reexamined until a “truth” becomes apparent, then it becomes a law, an inscrutable fact that holds up to all observations and arguments.
So I ask again “where” were we when Newton coined that term GRAVITY, were we here as miniscule particles of dust and debris put forth into the universe from dying stars, are we the remnants of what a Super-Nova sloughs off and begins its rebirth as smaller stars and planetary systems that will one day put forth a perfect system that will eventually give rise to life …. Like you and me.
It cant all be just an accident, if our Earths orbit around our Sun were off by as little as … say, a thousand miles in each direction then the habitat on this world would not support life as we know it, let alone a life with “conscious thought”, we exist in the “Goldie-Locks” zone, a place where scientists have determined where it is not to hot to have liquid water, and not to cold to have breathable air … in short, “our” EARTH is perfect for beings such as us to exist.
On a side note, it is human conceit and only that to think that in a universe as vast as ours (and it is that, it’s incomprehensible to the human mind just how big our universe is), that we are the only life extant. Many suns before ours died to give rise to our sun and … eventually, life such as ours; there is other life out there. You have but to close your eyes and see it.
