YOUR WORST TYPO BLOOPERS

Blog Posted:11/27/2013 3:55:00 PM

if you have read my bio  it says that my  greatest claim to fame is , " the world's worst typist..".. i am still that and  more clumsy than ever... looking at my comments here for poems, i realized the  many typo bloopers i had done... and still doing..  ouchie!

consider some of my wackies...

1.  beautiful!.. good LICK ( luck) to you--- duh?
2. you BAKE ( make) this piece  as if lyricism were your middle name---  now, i;m cooking!
3. SOME  ( come) COIN ( join) my contest!--- you got dimes?
4.such ACUTE ( a  cute) work i'm PEELING (reeling) here--- where's the knife?
5. truly a  BARK ( mark) of classic RORK ( work)-- hi doggie, doggie!
6. i SPOON ( swoon)  over this greeat STIFF ( stuff)--- the poem is eating hard food?
7.JIGGLES! (  giggles)... this really so BUNNY ( funny)-- happy easter!
8. and a lot  more i'm ashamed to divulge!

thank God, there's an editing feature on  soup!

am i alone or do you, in few  instances, make these blunders?

any  shares; i need some validation  today, lol!.. huggs!

My former GF and I were in a bar years back and I asked the musicians to dedicate a special song to her. I scribbled a note on a table napkin. The main singer announced my request, " (T)REASONS by Earth, Wind and Fire from J. to his special someone." I wanted to end my life!

Those " ie" and "ei" words get me into trouble! If this a public statement, bear with me, Nette.

This is a blunder which I consider to be more than a typo horror. At dinner, I was so irritated with my then 10 year- old brother that I blurted, " Don't EAT while your mouth is full!". Ashamed, haha. Advent is here; have yourself a meaningful Christmas!

My worst ever typo was when I thanked a very nice lady for asking me to join her popular circle of friends on a social page. I typed on her wall: "I am honored to have you as a fiend." Luckily she has a sense of humor and still signs her letters to me: "Your fiend, ....... " Wishing you a splendid holiday season. Love, Su

My language teacher in late grade school was a roughie. She asked us to spell, write, recite " Mississippi"," Tennessee", and other hard words over and over.Come finals, I had a phobia that made me mix all the letters up. I don't think I ever used these personal nouns or words without a dictionary. I'm a rat when it comes to words with double-letters.Worst typo error is " accommodate." Okay, fire me, lol.

This may not fit into the category of actual "typos"......however, when I was in college, and my boyfriend was away at a different school, (we eventually married, by the way)......I wrote two letters, .....one very passionate to him, and another "ordinary" letter to my parents. I put them in the mail at the same time. Of course you can guess what happened. I accidently put the letters in the wrong envelopes......and my parents received the "hot" letter and my boyfriend, fiance' received my parents letter! He freaked out and called me.....Thankfully my parents just laughed, and said they were happy we were getting married soon !!!!!! Ooops!!!! never did I make that mistake again!!!

Lordie, I won't forget that time when I had to send an important memo to our client, Unilever. We were bidding for financial consultancy services, and my thoughts were very keen then. I cc'd my assistant for final noting. He emailed me back and asked , " Sir, this phrase confuses me; for your REFUSAL." I wold be a dead duck if I hadn't made the change, " for your PERUSAL." Saved by the bell. This is fun, Nette!
