i am blessed

i am so very blessed,even though i have suffered from major depression for 29 yrs. and i  have suffered with chronic pain for 29 yrs. as well, i am blessed.  i was blessed to be born in america.  i don't think it gets much better than that.  i have never gone hungry, and i have never been wihtout clothes.  i see. all of the children and adults and it break my heart and brings me to tears.  it is not fair that some should have so much an others should have nothing at all.  i would much rather the children be blessed.  it pains me to see them suuffering.  jesus said suffer not the little children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of god.  the children are suffering and no one hears there cries.

Jerri, I am happy to see you have posted a bit about yourself and that you have pictures of your great love the ocean and beach. So far, I think all your poems I've read have to do with the beach, and that is great becuase you do them SO well. I'm glad you realize that you are blessed, and I can tell you and Adeleke here below have great feeling hearts.And Linda too, a generous person! LUv, Andrea

Recently, I was going to the INTERNET Café to browse and join the rest of my soup family, then I saw two kids in tattered cloths hawking plaintain, I felt so sorry in my heart, I felt like crying, in fact I shed tears in my heart. But they can’t help it if they doo not sell, they may die in starvation. Thank God you were born in America, but don’t hesitate to pray for those in countries like Nigeria where an average Nigerian is said to live on less than one dollar a day. I am not working but even at that, a lot of students depend on me, some of my juniors in hen I was in school do call me sometimes that should send a dollar credit to them. If I have I would send and if I don’t I pray for them. It is good you have a heart for them but you can reach out to them even with the little yoou have. My mom often scold me when I starve myself to give others what they want. But we need to make the world a better place, we can do it, a penny, can save a soul
