Choka Contest - Amy Green's Blog

I have 35 entries to date. Less than half I have even considered. Come on folks- if you're going to spend the you may as well do it right! I have Sonnets, Light poetry, Free Verse and a few other formsin there-

This is for CHOKA and CHOKA only. If you enter a poem in any contest don't waste the time of the sponser- or your own time by not following the rules. Take a few minutes and read the instruction.

 This last bout of poetry I had 9 entries, only 3 made it to the 2nd round. That is just ridiculous! And I don't give 2nd chances. i will not e mail the contestants to ask them to rewrite dur to wrong syllables or to do the right form.

now, if someone were to ask me a question- that would be a completely different story.
please folks. read instructions and write the poems properly.

Poet Destroyer A Date: 6/2/2012 6:13:00 PM Hi, Amy, hi,, I've been wanting to stop for a long while now.. First let me tell you something..."WELCOME BACK!" I have missed you throughout the years. Don't think I haven't, just cause of our back than history. Which was nothing really. I'm glad you had lots of life to explore. You will always be a special poet in my book * remember we added a little bit of female slam here on the soup, How could I ever forget., you actually inspired one of the best slams i ever shared out here.. I actual won first place with it, down the Mustang Island, here in Corpus Christi Texas, I entered the forever slam, in a giant spring break contest,, Slamming the Cracker Jack box.. , he he,,yup. I had to change many words.. maybe one day, I will share it here on the soup, always wanted too.. Don't worry I transformed the entire poem. and thank you so much for accepting me for who I really am inside and out,, ha ha,, hope you know the outside of me is much deeper than the inside,, and I don't care what any one says. I truly am nothing like my poet name.. I'm a kitty Kat in disguise. but, yes,, with that big base you mentioned in my blog.. always..pd Login to Reply
