Anna Hazare heralds the adoption of Lokpal resolution in Parliament as a "victory of the people" adding that the fight the corruption "is not over yet".

THE THREE MAIN CONDITIONS OF ANNA TO CHECK CORRUPTION

The three conditions that Anna set for the government include bringing lower bureaucracy within the ambit of the Lokpal. That would mean all government officials of the country from the block level to secretariat are covered. All officials found corrupt should be jailed and their properties attached.

Second, Anna demanded that Lokayukta be created in every state. The Lokayukta should have powers equal to that of Lokpal and should be an independent authority, as per the Gandhian’s demand.

The third and final condition is that there must be citizen’s charter. There should be a deadline for government officials to perform any task, failing which they must be fined.

The movement of Anna is going to show a big change in many countries of the world for a better tomorrow for the neglected and suffering common people of many countries. Thanks nikko. Yes you are very right. This is what we also feel that because of the unprecedented massive support of Anna, we have seen for the first time in sixty five years (India got its independence in 1947) that the voice of people have forced the Government to make changes in its erratic and deliberate policies created by corrupt politicians, due to which the corruption has become so wide spread that one would find it difficult to believe. Thanks to Anna who has awakened the masses of India. Love and best wishes...Ravindra

Last Spring I read about Anna Hazare. There is a message here not only for India, but for all governments. We preach in the USA about, of the people, by the people and for the people, but the corruption has stained our forefathers dreams.
