I was born on Good Friday, April 9th 1971. I wrote my first poem when I was eight years old called "I Used to Be." Writing has been a passion for me since I was child. Starting in 1994 I began my writing career. 

I enjoy the topics of death, varioius religions, nature, animals, cancer, suicide, recovering from addiction and learning new poetry topics and themes.

From 1992 to 1995 I was included in The National Dean's List for my grade point average of 3.9. I desired to become a college professor of poetry. My mother's cancer returned and I became her care giver. Soon after she passed I was stricken with mutiple scerlosis MS. I then was unable to work. A few years later my father committed suicide. I was an only child and this devasted me. I fell into addiction and am in recovery.

My poetry and article publishings include Se La Vie Writer's Journal, Listen, Cat Chat, The Writer's Gazette, Manufacturing Systems and The Polish American Journal.

I began a memorial award set up honor for my late grandmother Anne B. Cooke in Bell's Letters in the 1990s.

I have a cassette tape of my poetry from the series Visions from Watermark Press.

I published two chapbooks Songs from Stars 1999 and Wild Irises from God's Mountainside 1999 from In His Steps Publishing.

I then published religious self chapbook Lighthouse for the Soul with my mother's Claire Gail Cooke artwork in 1999/2000 by In His Steps Publishing.

I have received two poetry medals.

My latest work is available for purchase on Blurb.com. It a collaboration with other poets called Along the Way Poems by the Northwest Metaphorical Society 2010.

Also, I enjoy crafting with various hobbies and have sold some of my handmade items.
