Sensual Poetry Contest Judged

Fitting for Valentine's week! Sensual poetry is not easy to write, but this contest produced some wonderful poetry; the overall standard was very high. Eleven poems went through to the second round, and from there I selected the nine winners. It was very difficult to sort the final placements; the first place was never in any doubt, but I had a real challenge to sort the others into numerical order! The poems all use language very well, and many of them managed to find an unusual angle. A big congrats to the winners, and thank you to everybody who participated!

I loved Kim's poem no wonder it got top billing, I struggle writing romantic poems and writing sensual would be out of my comfort zone but I admire those who can. Great contest idea Charlotte its so lovely to see you sponsoring again:-) hugs Jan xx
