Cezanne, the French artist, was self taught, without any formal training, yet later in life was considered by other 'masters' ,Matisse&Picasso as the father ,of us all'.
These days the majority of printed published poets are ',professional's in literary academia, which seems to be the acknowledged stepping stone to recognition.
Are there Cezanne types in our poetry world hiding elsewhere? or has the net changed everything in regard to both becoming and publishing as a poet?
