The poem(s) are below...

Mother War

the day the mother wave goodbye
is the day we shall remember you by
so many went and never came back
to go and fight in an attack
of the men went fresh and new
to fight for country, for me and you
remember me the soldiers would say
try not forget, and for me you pray

the day they come home
your left standing alone
he hasn't made it cause he was hit
all that is left is his kit
as your hear does sink
others celebrate and drink

now your life will never be the same again
mothers grief and the pain
