The person you want to call your boo
The one you see a future with
The one you want by your side when you face your biggest challenges
But love can blind the soul
Hide what isn't whole
Create false hope in your mind
Causing your whole life to go blind
Love turns to pain
You slowly forget your name
Losing everything you once loved
Pushing turning to shoved
Pain becomes so normal your body goes numb
Making your whole world go glum
It doesn't hurt like it used to
He doesn't feel what you're going through
Nothing is left true
Pain turns into a drug
You get so addicted it's just numb
Your life turns into a blur
Your words start to slur
You slap a smile on your face
Pretend to be happy and show grace
Hide underneath all the hurt
Pain is your drug now
Breath in breath out and take a vow
