Thank You Dearest Darling

Thank you Dearest Darling for your lies and deceit
I've become a stronger woman, now I'm hold and complete

Thank you Dearest Darling for knocking my pride
I've learned the true meaning of criticism and how to take it strides.

Oh my Dearest Darling to you I give thanks, for causing me pain
I took 2 steps forward and got on top of my game.

Thank you Dearest Darling for your cold and wicked heart
I begin to document each year we grew apart.

Oh Dearest Darling, Dearest Darling, to you I give thanks for keeping me locked on a chain trying to drive me insane, I'm utilizing my mind to show you my efforts are not in-vain.

Thank you Dearest Darling for being a furious phantom
I'm beginning to see the boy in a man with temper tantrums.

Thank you Dearest Darling for words that felt like they could kill
It caused me to demand respect and say exactly how I feel.

Oh Dearest Darling, Dearest Darling, you're soon see my success
My life holds much brighter things, I'm off to being my best.

Now tell me Dearest Darling, what's left for you to say?
Who will be your prey?

One thing I know that's oh so true
My accomplishments will be my own with no thanks to you!
