Promise to haunt you

He promised he would admire your beauty's bright shine from afar, like watching the solar fires dance to us from the stars. As the backdrop in good dreams gleam, it seems you team up with sun beams to blind him.

He's gazing at you blindly, but your eyes never find him, because he's no longer physically there.

A late soulmate standing on the grim side of the great divide, locked in a stare. Sharing with her the same longing look that has overtook her tired face. A wishful expression with the impression of depression.

Both wishing that their final embrace didn't end with his final fade away from living in a physical way. People die but memories, like ghosts are here to stay.

I enjoyed the alliteration and internal rhymes used throughout your poem.

Strong poem! This poem is very deep too. Memories are the things that never disappear. :)
