The purposeless walks
In the cold dark nights
The quiet night we had just the two of us
With the cold breeze blowing in our faces
And the night crawlers and star-lit sky;
Bearing witness to our love story
Our crazy star gazing adventure and,
Outdoor naps on the cold green grass
And the long chats that continued hours after our goodnight tributes
The weird crazy imaginations I shared with you,
You’d listen, smile and laugh
The warmth of your smile dominated the cold nights –
And I felt warm again even in the night cold
The sound of your voice sent quarter beat leaps to my heart
And your unique personality captured my brain and your beauty my heart.

Just the two of us,
In the middle of a lonely night, we kept it company till dawn called
Into the AM hours of the night-morning
We’d stroll down the college paths and lanes;
After hours of sitting there and just talking with just one mission –
To carelessly fall in love times over without number
The frequent moments of silence were awkwardly fun
And I enjoyed how you’d break the silence and sent Mr. Awkward packing
It was a story – our love story,
One that began on a Saturday morning in the grand park of Black England
A story of two souls knit together by codes of a romantic mystery spell;
Beyond the Milky Way galaxy’s comprehension.

Every single day I spend with you,
Do I have engraved on my heart with a print that neither detergent nor eraser can ever wipe out
One that is here to stay, a memory to behold
And a future to desirably embrace
I remember the first night we met,
Down the tracks of great sportsmen and sportswomen,
We had our first aimless walk down the maroon tracks;
And quite half a jog
In the midst of the athletes we walked and enjoyed the peace of the night
: the first of many to follow purposeless strolls in the cold winter nights
I never did mind the cold;
Not when your presence could warm my heart just being with you was all that mattered

And now all that matters to me is you
I just want to hold you tight in my arms
Feel your heartbeat through the groins of my heart
Down to the bone of my mind
To have an everlasting union
A love that will flow like the mighty Nile
Never running dry not even for a single mile’
That we can write a never ending tale that of our great love
That began in a land of untold mysteries
A love story to behold, one never to forget.
