Homeless

You judge me with hate filled daggers
Walking past with pants of swagger
Knowing not my life long story
How I faded once from glory

Looking down at me you find
No empathy in your mind
For trash I am, you are not
My fault it is I live this lot

Disgust and cringe is what I get
When I smell of street and sweat
May our paths once more cross
You will see I'm no longer lost

For I have left your street to go
Only where the flowers grow

Terror

From the shadows rising fear
Hands, nails sharp and clear
Spider spindles above as fingers
Death has come just to linger
Gnashing teeth it is the bearer
It watches as I fill with terror
Shadow movements on the wall
Turn to face the worst of all
Now the tears begin to flow
Looking down to hell below
I see my fate burning bright
As the sun in dead of night
Falling fast the heat is scorching
In my nostrils lava pouring
Scream and scream and scream I might
In my bed I wake this night

The Box

Here in this box I sit
Lamenting, gazing through the slits
Beings pass by in shadow form
Never is it not the norm

Here in this box I stand
Holding walls with blood stained hands
Will it all come crashing down?
Wearing nothing but a frown

Here in this box I lay
Is it now the end of day?
My time has come and so will yours
This heart and soul have finally turned

Here in this box I now return
From whence I came, to the dirt
Now this box I pass to you
For your heart and soul are like mine too

Moonlight

Beneath the moonlight silver shimmer
Standing I begin to shiver
Is there nothing more for me to do
Than gaze upon this frozen ground

Behind me moonlight shadow cast
Stretched out as memories fading fast
Eyes shifting, scanning for a clue
Left and right but nothing found

Beyond the darkness moonlight gleams
Revealing worlds beyond the seams
Looking down and inward bound
Panic rising when I hear the sound

Before the day moonlight stays
Shining bright as I lay
Snowflakes on my face do land
Cold and still can't move my hand

From above moonlight shines
Relieved, I close my eyes

New Path

Happiness around the corner comes, I can see it plan as day
How do I get there I fear, can I find the way
Try and try once more I have, my heart lay wounded on the ground
While not looking could it be, the one to whom my life is bound
When you know, you know, truth be told I know this not before
Mistakes were mad and so I suffered, longing for the door
Do I trust my heart so soon, stir and think with wondrous fret
For happiness is what I seek, it seems I may have found it yet
I dare not decide anything now, life will lead me where it may
This I do know now, brighter it looks every day.
