Christopher Edmonds Poem
She has stood gacefully in the harbor for years.
She witnesses the peoples happiness, defeats, and tears.
This lady definately has a lot on her mind, she definately has a lot to say.
The very momnt they end this war, will be a great day.
We must unite as one, together we all stand.
She encourages you to join her, it's easy, just take her hand.
Only lonely cold nights she had conversation with the man in the moon.
His face full of worry, and he wished our soldiers would come home soon.
She will continue to hold that torch, this being our guiding light..
She will stand for equality, and for all that is right.
She may be a statue, but she has watched over this country for an eternity, or so
it would seem.
She stands proud to represent the people of the United States, and the American
Dream.

Christopher Edmonds Poem
He walks knowing exactly where he is going but he is lost.
He is so confused as he wishes everyday for an identity, no matter the cost.
His mind still yet boggled, scared of running, running out of time.
The clock is ticking away before he can do everything he desires hopefully
together as a rhyme.
The rhyme will be broken for there is nothing perfect in life.
He will encounter many heartaches if someone stabbed his pride with a very
dull knife.
He knows eventually everything will turn out for the best.
He is so beautiful, unique, intelligent, and different from the rest.
He beats himself up everyday if things do not go his way.
As he is lying down to rest once more, rest his weary mind, he hopes tomorrow
will be a better day.
Sometimes he thinks why should I even study life?
Why even bother?
At the same time in the back of his mind his heart,
simply tells him to have faith, just wait and
talk with your heavenly father.
He walks knowing exactly where he is going but he thinks he is lost.
