Please Define

Define that fresh sensation once again
Thought to be missed while mellowing further
Define that shiver until one knows when
Tickled by touch as light as a feather.
Define that out of the blue expression
Brought as a smile amidst wonderstruck gaps
Define that itch to make an impression
Asked oneself if it may cause a collapse.
Define that strong desire to keep it close
Tried to hold off the longing within reach
Define that incessant praise as it shows
Felt the comfort to be part of such speech.
These feelings wished for more to discover
Though discouraged to be felt forever.

Define that jaundiced eye hidden deep down
Affected by delusions that must cease
Define that sleepless night tumbling around
Worried about its substance to decrease.
Define that gentle torture creeping in
Intoxicated by pleasure from pain
Define that risk taken for a good spin
Saw a dead end coming latched on a stain.
Define that sweet lemoning on the rocks
Denied the existence of falling out
Define that misfortune kept in a box
Considered as a sentiment no doubt.
These feelings wished for certainty to bite
Regardless, I still do not get it quite.

Sleepyhead

Two windows closing little by little
Brittle materials be blamed for weakness
Buzz might break them off, possibly wiggle
Prolonging the boredom of her highness.
Can’t wait for blackout; freedom can be found
Ironic how simple bliss may come in
Murmur of the wind is an intense sound
This topsy-turvy world causes no grin.
Perhaps her highness craves a sweet winter
Double expectations must not be failed
Melted creation will disappoint her
Still, being anywhere but here is hailed.
That’s it for today; tomorrow again
Just hold on; she’ll close the windows by then.

God Only Knows

Your sudden departure caused glum wonder
A blow that was sinking deep into core
Panic and tough refusal grew under
Death by the final course was to blame for.
Fidelity is dug from a soft spot
His bittersweet timeline has proven such
Makes to think if love is worth the long shot
Little bit of drama for a soft touch.
Yet too forlorn to accept selfishness
Detaching duties of a well-wisher
Comfort is given to a reticence
Ignorance to the acquired fresh blister.
My dear friend grilled upon reaching the cure
To after one’s own heart that was thought pure.

Fog Of Sunshine

Upon arriving in a cold dawn breeze
Whilst hands might be full, demanding to lift
Eagle eyed on such a shadow at ease
Extends a welcome, still I became stiff.
Aura’s on edge to this fragile posture
Dismal charade coats his inner bearing
As river of moonshine does not torture
The eight, deep-seated ‘til rays are glaring.
Gathered for indulgence at fresh midday
The fragile has a mouth for his wise tongue
Sharing trivia that carried me away
And yet bluffs as a flat poker-faced young.
The fog of sin from a bag of sunshine
That is quite an open-and-shut draw line.

Skin fires up along waters in motion
A query comes in, hailed to modern dame
The rant of the fragile spurs his notion
Though excuse me, could not join your game.
Flushed and away from taking the crisp pledge
I sway to the tune of compelling tracks
Heretofore, an act that I must not hedge
Straight outside where the dazed fragile relaxed.
From pedals and licks to favored genre
The familiarity is round-the-clock
Surplus existence is not a contra
Evanescence of the soul comes to knock.
The fog of sin from a bag of sunshine
Drop out of sight; I think I will be fine.

First shot - a lustrous rust from ripe wonder
The seven, battled the craft of reason
Second shot - a mind’s eye leads to blunder
The two, tempted for the sake of season.
Allured to the voice of inviting mischief
A seal that is all but butterfly kiss
Dries the dearest out beyond disbelief
Enough of it calls the shots of mere bliss.
Gasp of steamy air echoes out of range
Lingering for the deep touch of desire
Vague urge gives in to an enticing change
Tender strokes spring from the poise we aspire.
The fog of sin from a bag of sunshine
The fragile climbed the capstone; likewise, mine.

The first blush rises above horizon
As the three sheets to the wind tiptoed well
Being caught in a fly-by-night zion
Upstairs is under one’s wing from the spell.
Scruffy yet born with bewitching feature
Voice endowed with suavity sweeps off feet
Mesmeric eyes that can cause mild seizure
Dear me now, could not stare or even greet.
The four, smoothed the way back to how things charm
Others remained; clueless of what took shape
Swan song by the fragile got my cheek warm
Treated this breathing space as sweet escape.
The fog of sin from a bag of sunshine
Still and all, an open-and-shut draw line.

Halfhearted

Started in the season of buds and sweets
Ended after a course as the sun sets
Full of doubts from assorted tricks and treats
A departure is as good as it gets.
Flashing on the thoughts of once a timid
A few Zs are enough to bring pleasure
Could not blink at how stress becomes rigid
Situation calls for a strong measure.
Being used to this torture brings comfort
Ironic as the reasoning may seem
Ignorance is the delay of some sort
Though bitterness stands as it goes extreme.
Taking a walk is a sequel to gain
Another phase is eager for no pain.

Looking back, the timid grew social wings
Mimicked those of butterfly’s and dragon’s
Alights on the spot where others’ smog clings
This becomes one of daily traditions.
Indebted for the wisdom of mentors
Who prevailed upon with supreme concern
Never had given up hope as the source
Truly mastered the mix of mild and stern.
And yet leaving has been contemplated
Personal growth needs to be magnified
Epiphany has been compensated
Being torn by progress and warmth that died.
Halfhearted with the decision that’s made
Still, such recurrence if the timid stayed.

Justice And Devil

Brilliance – distinction of a complex mind
Force of attraction drawn to the longhair
Holds spellbound deep into the soul may find
Inspired long hours linger in calm air.
Mischief – a debonair gentleman’s lure
Damage traced in dark abstract history
Plays wicked games in belief to mature
Tingles to one’s warmth from sheer misery.
Their wrinkled fusion bewilders the will
Fool notion deceives the bathing beauty
Though pleasure is craved such as a sweet pill
Perhaps parallel taste appears moony.
Claimed thought of justice being ideal
Still, the devil works as its best rival.

This feeling surrounded by eloquence
Gives delight in the hope for a phoenix
Its blood from stone hungers to flow presence
Fed by debauchery for a lush fix.
Amusement strikes the concealed sensation
Engrossed in own world; leaving others out
Being engaged to toxic relation
Considers the benefit of the doubt.
Bright haze from white lightning on the table
Sugar cubes spread in the strawberry field
Yellow shine in blue heavens is stable
Every puff of wisdom causes to yield.
The devil creeps in with false mastery
Justice is controlled by rare flattery.

Jadedness – an immortal tolerance
Defense for letting go of black balloons
Farewell to judgment and dull acceptance
Eases the torture of sorrowful tunes.
Midnight talks greet goodnight to bad mornings
May the ego erupts; to care is more
Trauma from the misunderstood warnings
Fades to passion of which the two adore.
Raw concern reminds of the consequence
Stubborn eagerness decays such comfort
As long as the charm kills beyond nonsense
Chances with the fellow will not fall short.
Tarot cards foresee a future to fill
Mine showed symbols of justice and devil.

One Day

As past still haunted me for the pain felt
It was about time for tranquility
Possibly adding a notch in my belt
An escape from vulnerability.
In paradise, I was on a mission
To gather thoughts and fill the vacancy
Luck from cosmic force set my ignition
To release endorphins and decency.
Wrapped around a full head of steam under
Yet nestled in a temperate posture
Golden strands swayed fondly as I ponder
Shared same quirks despite the distinct culture.
Tempted to ask him out which I thought cool
Still, I claimed to be fastened to my rule.

A sweet flight must be stored in the deepest
Its sole purpose was to draw sudden smiles
But the unexpected spurred the weakest
An exchange coming from hundreds of miles.
Thought it was safe to encounter such means
‘Til sharing of wits flattered each other
Hoping to forge ahead to varied scenes
Although nothing much could be done further.
Desire for coffee was not a good sign
If distance was the massive stumbling block
For then, this may keep the ball rolling fine
Later, it would not harm for you to knock.
Pursued existence for a longer stay
Promised oneself for that moment one day.

The Urge

Out of the blue when the universe played
Got bored with my unshakable conduct
Brought out a flesh from a memory made
Perchance to test the thorn that has been plucked.
Dinner begins no harm; Scotch does not cut
Even unsaid language must not perplex
Yet longing for the presence turned us shut
Fast paced occurrence is what he projects.
Got carried away with this missed habit
Not denying ecstasy being felt
Though bothered by ways acting as unfit
Just sailed along until nothing was held.
Mutual fondness maybe at its peak
However, deep connection was still weak.

Guilty of being a slave to that pain
Much more with such shallow drawing power
The saying, “third time’s the charm”, is insane
Six seasons had it for the frail flower.
Putting up a struggle with the contrast
Causes the weariness of my texture
Pleasing the established circle had passed
Offer consolation for such gesture.
I need that distinctive pea in my pod
One who reflects himself on my flawed glass
I need that impulse no matter how odd
One who can keep up as far as it lasts.
The urge deserves to be in highest form
Never again be deceived by such norm.

The Fault On Our Weekends

The city lights are the guide to one’s shrine
Of bottomless shots and wandering nights
The music settles in every outline
Of poor judgment that makes a fool ignites.
The thirst for lager and endless giggling
Overshadow the bitter pill taken
The desire for comfort out of mingling
Only spoils prospects who are forsaken.
The social call is just about to start
Something boiled down or untamed may happen
The impulse sets the expected apart
A high time fondness is near to fasten.
There’s always no tomorrow as they say
But the night after causes no delay.

The evening meal’s feasted among pillows
Buried in layers of blanched sheets and skins
The forty weight that Saturday still owes
Occurs in the night when one roughly spins.
The grip that is lured by forced attraction
Be like swaying along a blind alley
The hatred stems from unfit distraction
Slow dancing is now being craved badly.
The afterclap makes sound ahead sunrise
With brandy and pleasant remembrances
The men who give joyride and butterflies
Need a break to refrain from semblances.
Onto the next weekend, this may play back
Guess it is each one’s favorite soundtrack.

Leaving

The shriek of a preschooler as she went
Marked the wisdom imperative for keeps;
The pause for dawn after taverns well spent
Started a bond to be kept as she sleeps.
The crisp breathing space for the well behaved
Served as a keen angle once she comes back;
The farewell in an airport as she waved
Bethought to long for the missed to unpack.
The surrender of duty that brought shock
Infused the values in her to the next;
The parting from the dearest seemed as mock
Unsealed the despair she purely rejects.
She may learn saying goodbye the hard way
But then, would be granted with a bouquet.
